Our small, charming restaurant with its historic vaulted ceiling is situated in the city center, Vienna’s 1st district, right next to the Old University and the Jesuit Church. Thanks to its secluded location in a quiet side street, the Duchardt is still considered an insider’s tip amongst gourmets. We offer classic French-Austrian cuisine of the highest standard, with a contemporary twist, at excellent value for money. We place great emphasis on using fresh, high-quality produce, sourced both regionally and internationally. On our monthly changing menu, you’ll find a tasting ‘Menu Fantasie’ as well as a champagne menu, which always features our signature dish, the Breton lobster. To round off the
all-round culinary experience, we recommend a matching wine pairing with our set menus, which is highly popular not only with our regulars. Wine lovers will find it well worth taking a look at the wine list, which boasts an extensive selection of champagnes and wines. In addition, at lunchtime we treat all guests who prefer a relaxed lunch to a romantic dinner to a selection of small bistro dishes.
